Our home is situated in the heart of Wollaton in Nottingham in close proximity to local amenities, bus stop which are wheelchair friendly and provide easy access to and from the City Centre. We are also 5 minutes from Wollaton Hall.

Our relaxed, comforting environment has been designed to aid orientation around the home while providing an interesting and stimulating place to live, all rooms are en-suite and we have a garden for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Our Story

Our Story

Wollaton Park is a 39-bed Residential Care Home specialising in residential and dementia care. Our experienced Home Manager Deborah Redshaw has managed the home since it opened in July 2012.

The Manager, several staff and residents was transferred to the newly built home from Beeston. The Majority remain with us today.

We have currently undergone (are currently undergoing) extensive redecoration including a brand new Kitchen.

Support is readily available from our team of dedicated staff. Whether it be advice or a shoulder to cry on, or a quick chat, our cheerful positive friendly carers are happy to help.

We aim to work in partnership with residents, their family and friends to help us to achieve agreed outcomes for each person. We encourage family and friends to take an active part in the daily life of the home to enhance residents wellbeing.

We have been rated as ‘Good’ in our latest inspection by CQC

We provide, long-term care, short-term care – depending on availability and respite care – depending on availability.

At Wollaton Park, we really care about people's happiness and wellbeing. Our staff strive to encourage and support residents to be in control of their life by making choices and decisions about their care needs. Our staff team are committed to providing a high standard of person-centred care to meet your individual needs. Staff project a professional, positive, friendly manner and fully involve residents in planning their care and making day to day decisions about their life. Treating people with respect, dignity, empathy and compassion are central to everything we do.
Our dedicated staff ensure you're cared for in the way you choose, and we will always go the extra mile to make a real difference to your life.

We pride ourselves in providing the very highest standard of care. Our dedicated activity coordinator has regular meetings with residents and works with residents individually to establish each person's preferred hobbies and interests. A variety of activities, social events and trips are then planned around people's choices.

Our Facilities

Here at Wollaton Park we have 39 single rooms. We have 30 rooms that have an en-suite with toilet and wash-basin whilst the remaining 9 rooms also have an addition of a walk-in shower. In addition to our rooms we have a hairdressers room and a conservatory.
